We believe that every child can learn, but each child has their own unique learning style. Riverpointe Christian Academy provides a unique, individual approach designed to address the different learning styles of every student. Our goal is to instill a life-long love of learning in each student, teach personal responsibility and accountability, promote individual creativity, and develop critical thinking skills.

We accomplish this in classroom environments that promote individualized learning based on biblical principles and academic excellence.
Our lower curriculum provides fundamental skills that create a strong basic foundation for learning. This academically challenging curriculum is taught in a rich learning environment that fosters a love for learning. Our Learning Center environments provide a smooth transition for students as they move from “learn to read” to “read to learn”. Our creative, compassionate teachers have the skills to teach challenging academics as well as opportunity for social and emotion growth from a Christian perspective. Our lower school students consistently exceed national norms on standardized testing.
Our biblical curriculum implements the 5 Laws of Learning. These include:
  • A child must be at a level where he can perform.
  • He must have reasonable goals.
  • His learning must be controlled, and he must be motivated.
  • His learning must be measurable.
  • His learning must be rewarded.

Our curriculum is aligned with South Carolina State Standards and we teach life skills which prepares students for future success in higher education, in the military or in the work force. We acknowledge God has uniquely created great diversity among us and students are taught to celebrate our diversity and to respect those who may have different opinions.

We believe that God gave parents the responsibility of raising and educating their child(ren) and we consider it an honor when a parent choses RCA to be a part of that process. We believe we have a responsibility to model Christian values on our campus in a way that will encourage parents and students alike.
